The Fair Credit Billing Act prohibits your bank from holding you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges.

If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, MellesGriot.com will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00. MellesGriot.com will cover this liability only if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at MellesGriot.com while using our secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Prices shown are valid only for online purchases and may differ if the order is placed through one of our sales offices. Customs and duties are the responsibility of the buyer.

Purchase using our secure server with your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit card. For qualifying businesses, pay via purchase order.
If you would like to pay via purchase order, first you must set up a web purchase order account. Upon approval you will be given a web customer number and a purchase order code to use when making purchases. Unless otherwise indicated standard terms and conditions apply. Payment is net 30.


Shipping and Handling Back to Top

Orders will ship from our North American warehouses via United Parcel Service at the standard, published rate, with the following exceptions:

Melle Griot may, at our discretion, choose to use another carrier at no additional shipping cost.

Certain heavy items maybe shipped seperately on an F.O.B basis; cost to be determined.

Where the delivery address is a Post Office Box, United States Postal Service will be used, with no additional shipping cost.

For customers within the United States, we offer three levels of service:

  • Ground (typically 3-9 business days)*
  • 2-Day
  • Next Day

* Not available for Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories

For customers outside the United States, we offer two levels of shipping:

Expedited (typically 5 business days) Express (typically 3 business days)

The times quoted do not include any delays in destination customs. Expedited shipment is not available in all areas.


Taxes, Customs and Duty Back to Top

The final purchase price includes all applicable state and local taxes. It does not include customs and duty charges for orders outside the United States. Customs and duty charges are the responsibility of the customer.

At the present time, we are required to collect state taxes for the following locations: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.


Partial Shipments Back to Top

Partial shipments may occur if a multipart order contains an item or items temporarily not in stock. Customers will be notified in advance when this occurs.

If, for some reason a part is unavailable, you will be notified by e-mail and given the opportunity to amend or cancel your order.


Exchange and Returns Back to Top

All standard products purchased on-line can be returned to Melles Griot within 30-days. If one of these standard products does not meet your expectations, just return it to us as new within 30 days, following the procedure below, for an exchange or refund. The return policy does not include shipping charges. A restocking fee may apply.


Return Procedures Back to Top

Contact us by phone, fax, or e-mail. Provide the purchase order number, part number, and the reason for return. We will then give you a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) that must be referenced on the packing list when the part is returned.
